Clockblocked is:
When you want (or need) to be somewhere else and are actively trying to leave
then a situation occurs that needs dealing with, so you deal with it and as a consequence you don't get to leave on time.

You just got clockblocked

Clockblock

The act of not informing or preventing someone from knowing the time, in most cases for selfish or spiteful reasons and/or even no reason at all. This can include deliberately misinforming a person a wrong time for their gain or the other parties loss in any given predicament or scenario

Though the man at the busstop clearly had a watch on, he clockblocked me when i asked for the time, leaving me unsure if i had missed my transfer.
