Bokken

A bokken is a wooden sword usually used for sword training. When a student begins to work with a sword, he learns basic maneuvers with a bokken. However, the bokken can also be used as an effective weapon since it is made of strong, heavy wood. In fact, many Ninja preferred to use the bokken on a mission than a regular sword.

The reasons for this are that a bokken is lighter and easier to carry, there is no risk of cutting oneself, bokken are very easy to camouflage since they can be stained or painted, and, when using proper techniques, a bokken can easily break bones and damage internal organs.

Bokonism

The religion made up by a negro man named Bokonon. It is a fictional religion used in the classic Kurt Vonnegut novel "Cat's Cradle" published in 1963. It is a religion that claims to all be lies, but is still popular in the fictional Caribbean Island "The Republic of San Lorenzo."

"All the true things I am about to tell you are all shameless lies," is a classic quote that defines the views of Bokonism.

bogenschutz

A versetile and far reaching term limited only by the imagination of the user. Can be used to describe a person, place, thing or emotion. Best, but not exclusively, used in a high stress situation. Tense is also subject to the context of the word use.

2. You HAVE to be botenschiting me. (syn. kidding, joking )
3. Hey Bogenschutz, I love you. (syn. honey, dear, sweetie)

A term describing a situation where you have no idea what just happened and there is no way to get out of it. Most often used to describe when a person irreverently drops irrelevant knowledge on a large, unsuspecting group.

Person 1 to Group: "I have a belly button!"
Person 2 to Person 3: "Dude, we just got Bogenslammed."
