Black Girl Follow Train is a movement of Black women taking social media account growth into their own hands. In 2023 the Black girl Follow Train transcended to become BGBTA - Black Girls Breaking the Algorithm (see definition for BGBTA). Instead of depending on apps and algorithms to identify and push content for them. Black women worldwide have pledged to aggressively follow and support other Black women's pages, essentially creating their own algo-rhythm and flow.
