Norwegian expression used for changing the subject to something totally unrelated.
Originated around a dinner table 20 minutes by car north-east of Oslo, when the older sister of the house had something more to say about meatballs. Widely used in some circles in Oslo and the areas around Oslo.
Can be translated to English like this: "Speaking of meatballs"

Apropos kjøttkaker fikk jeg en A på oppgaven min.
In English: Speaking of meatballs, I got an A on my essay.

Apopka High School

This is the school is in the town of apopka, and holds all sorts of people. It has the uppity, rich type (usually white), the spanish, the south apopkans (usually black minus,my family), and the white trash from rock springs trailer park. We pride ourselfs on the fact that we have the "best" football team and our unique mascot, the blue darter! You can always catch a fight between the infamous SUR13 and APK gangs. In 2008, a new school was built so we no longer have to deal with the old, moldy campus! Our top rivals are Edgewater and Lake Brantley. Our sister-school is Wekiva. Abbrev. : AHS

Pejorative retronym. First invented by homeopaths trying to poke fun at orthodox medicine in the 1800s, the term gained new life in the 20th Century as a retronym to distinguish medical doctors (MDs) from osteopathic physicians (DOs).
