**A.I.D.S. (Artificial Intelligence Derangement Syndrome)**

A severe mental condition where a person completely loses critical thinking skills the moment Artificial Intelligence is mentioned.

Symptoms include:

* Frothing at the mouth about “the death of art” while producing stick figures and calling it *authentic*.
* Screaming that AI is “cheating” or “lazy” while copy-pasting Google results like it’s a personality trait.
* Declaring AI “soulless” but having zero curiosity, originality, or self-awareness themselves.
* Believing every algorithm is one update away from enslaving humanity, yet unable to explain how Wi-Fi works.

Common behaviors:

* Moral grandstanding from a high horse powered entirely by hypocrisy.
* Claiming to “support artists” but never buying art.
* Confusing personal insecurity with ethical concern.

**Causes:**
Being outpaced by a tool and mistaking that embarrassment for a philosophy.

**Prognosis:**
Permanent unless treated with humility, education, or the horrifying realization that AI didn’t ruin their talent—they just never had any.

**Not to be confused with:**
Actual criticism of AI, which requires thinking.
