Corporate Game

A type of video game created by a large corporation (often referred to as a AAAA game or quad 'A' game). These games are designed to appeal to the broadest possible audience, prioritizing commercial success over artistic innovation or creative risks. While they often feature high production values, cutting-edge graphics, and extensive marketing campaigns, they are frequently criticized for being bland, boring, and soulless.

Corporate games tend to follow formulaic designs, relying on "tried-and-true" mechanics and generic storylines to maximize profitability and minimize the risk of alienating any segment of their target market, which is everyone. This results in games that, despite their technical polish, lack originality, creativity, and depth. They often feature excessive microtransactions, season passes, and other monetization strategies that can detract from the overall gaming experience, these corporations may also incorporate "woke" language and themes, but they're often seen as a superficial and unsuccessful attempt at inclusivity that fails to add meaningful substance to the game.
I was really excited about the new sci-fi RPG, but it ended up being just another corporate game—great graphics, but it felt so generic and uninspired. It’s clear they were more focused on appealing to everyone than making something truly unique

Wrong Game Ronnie

The moniker given a man who intentionally wears the jersey of a team not participating in the game he is attending. The man is often accompanied by his lady friend, Wrong Game Rhonda.
I saw Wrong Game Ronnie in the beer line wearing his Kentucky jersey even though this is the Louisville-Clemson game. His girlfriend Wrong Game Rhonda was with him.

squid game problems

When you have so much money and free time that you don’t have problems to deal with anymore. Like the grandpa from squid games. When you have so many options on TV that there’s nothing to watch. When you have access to get food from any restaurant in town, but you’re been to all of them before. You have the perfect job, where you don’t have to do anything. Everything is perfect.

And now you’re bored.
Dude, I think he’s having squid game problems.
But didn’t he just get a promotion?
Yeah. Now he doesn’t have to pay off his mortgage anymore. Roth IRA is filled, no kids, no wife, no hobbies, what’s he got left?

Banana game

A game that has little gameplay and is mostly played to get random item drops which you can sell on a marketplace for minimal real world profit. most of the time the marketplace taxes you and gives a little bit of the money to the creator. the reason it is called a Banana game is because of the most popular example of this is a game called Banana on steam.
Person1: Man I've been making a lot less money from this game then I thought i would.
Person2: Well what did you expect from a Banana game, they are practically a scam.
