Intentionally doing a job so poorly that you will not be asked to do it again. For example, you do not want to mow the grass so you "accidentally" now down the flowers so no one will ask you to mow the grass again.

He's just flower mowing to avoid being asked to do that job.

It is done by promising a product, (new invention, web-series, video game, etc.) only to cancel the project without refund and run off with the donation money for some other purpose.

Flowering Heart

A Korean anime-ish series aimed at children. The series is about a young pink-haired girl named Aria, and her friends Suha and Min with their daily adventures and trying to stop Trump's evil plans with the help a matured man named Chess. There is also a young, evil girl named Shuel who later joined forces with Aria after knowing that she had been brainwashed by Trump. This show has 2 seasons so far. It's actually a pretty good series, with lots of humour, school life, and magical girl stuff.

Flowering Heart is a great series. Every episode haseft me in suspense and a cliffhanger situation.
