The one music review website on the internet where the reviews are at least semi-tolerable. This is due to the fact that they're not being written by thirteen year olds (like on Absolutepunk) or by 40 year olds who only listen to top 40 radio (like Rolling Stone) but by actual WRITERS. Indie kids like to shit all over Pitchfork because they give bad reviews to bad music with no exceptions and only hypes bands that are too obscure to name drop to strangers you met at the Anberlin show.
Indie Kid: I can't believe Pitchfork Media gave the new Death Cab for Cutie album a 6/10 but gave some twat named Vampire Weekend a 9/10!

The type of sitting that can only be on a step, or on a bench out side of a gas station. Pitching a loaf is a very popular activity among the old. A loaf pitching team was formed in 1974 by the late Milhouse Carroll. The team inspired many old gas station loiters to convert loafisum, a much less radical group. But by the time word of the team got around, all the founding members had passed away right in their loafing spots. Loafing is not limited just to the old and decrypted, it can be done by a boss, or those old at heart. But a word to the wise, don't take loaf pitching lightly, because its not just an action, its a way of life. As told in the timeless words of Milhouse Carroll, "Once the loaf has started, You and your bench, will never be parted."

Pitch Black have been tearing up the Bay Area and beyond since October 1999. Kevin Cross (guitar/vocals), Martin Munroe (bass/vocals), Jamie Morrison (drums), and Jeremy Goody (keyboards) truly play The Modern Sound. Their debut split CD with the Enemies (Lookout!) grabbed the attention of not only Cheetah’s Records but also landed them in the spotlight on Revelation Records.
And that’s just the beginning…
In their mere 4 year existence, Pitch Black has already made quite a name for themselves; this band’s more explosive than their stage show! They’ve blazed across the US and Canada in two extraordinarily successful tours, as well as infiltrated the ears of those in attendance at the World Cup Soccer games and Fox skateboarding competitions.
