Practice Hero

The athlete who always gives 110% during practice when it's not necessary, just to show up their teammates. Is usually the worst player on the team who never gets any playing time, only in practice. Generally unliked by their teammates for obvious reasons.

Olivia: "Hey Rudy, take it down a peg it's not even a game. No need to be a practice hero!"

Emily: "But practice is the only time I get to play!"

Chelsea: "Yeah, Helen Keller sees more playing time than you.."

Battlefield Heroes

The game where everything is underpowered or needs to be nerfed depending on who you ask. Also notable for its updates (or lack thereof) and people who tell you to "QQ" over anything that borders on constructive criticism.

Example of a typical Battlefield Heroes forum post:

Player 1: Why did a two hour maintenance create seven hours worth of glitches and downtime?

Herobrine

An NPC claimed to haunt minecraft.
Then and again, the awesome works of Notch and a few guys has uncovered this hoax.
Herobrine is just a retexture of the default character skin in minecraft (with white eyes.)
He's very creepy, and just runs away after staring at you.
Players claim to have seen him and after attempting to stalk him, they see his works of art.
Herobrine is obsessed with small pyramids in minecraft and 4x4 holes.
He was programmed to dig mini tunnels and make holes on walls.
Being a real scare to players in minecraft, some mod-makers decided to make herobrine mods that spawn herobrine.

Player1: OMG, I just saw Herobrine in my minecraft!
Player2: Lies, he's just a hoax created by Minecraft Devs to scare you.
Player1: STFU, it's true!
Player2: >.>
