When you're pretty much boyfriend/girlfriend with somebody (holding hands, making out, etc.) but neither of you have discussed the ambiguous relationship status.

girl 1: are you and insert name here going out now?
girl 2: well, we do everything a bf/gf do, but it's not official. it's more of an implied relationship.
girl 1: OMG NO WAY I'M GONNA BE OBNOXIOUS AND GO TELL EVERYONE NOW!

Bassist-drummer relationship

The coolest people in the band, and for some reason the most underepreciated. They are two unlikely heroes who band together to take out those snooty guitarists and man-whore singers. They are the heart and sole of music. They also are (normaly) best friends, and they get most of the girls because they aren't drug-addicts and crawling with STDs like the singers and guitarists.With the exception of an occasional guitar solo, bass and drums are the best.

Wow, Cliff Burton and Lars Ulrich (in Metallica had a great Bassist-Drummer relationship..... and probably got all of the girls

A relationship where people are not physically present but communicate exclusively using online, texting, or other electronic communication devise.

They have a virtual relationship because they don’t speak to each other in real life. They text each other during school and chat in the evenings online, but when they see each other at band practice they don't say a word to each other.
