TV friendship

A friendship where it is always the same person who starts a conversation.

Just like turning on a TV, you start a conversation with your TV friend, surf some topics of conversation and then end the conversation.

It is always up to the same person to decide to turn on the TV friendship, otherwise it just sit there idle.

A very shallow friendship, not to be taken seriously.

Guy 1: "I haven't heard from Anne in forever."

Guy 2: "Oh she's nice, I have TV friendship with her, lemme send her a message and see what's new."
