Essentimor é uma teoria filosófica que analisa o medo humano da própria essência como a força oculta por trás da moral, das normas sociais e da negação do livre-arbítrio.
O termo deriva da junção de essentia (essência) com timor (medo), e representa o impulso profundo de fugir de quem realmente somos quando não estamos atuando para o mundo.

If a geek wants his product or company or even himself to sound "sophisticated" he will overuse the word "essentially" to talk about his geeky product.
