Selective Input

Most commonly used in digital parties such as Discord, Xbox, PS4. Selective input occurs when a person chooses only to speak when they feel comfortable, usually within a Safe Space. It is used by cowards, and people who cannot generate a unique comeback. A user of selective input is most often also a lurker.

Josh was just roasted and did not respond choosing to use selective input.

Patrick: No I’m not!

Selectraphobia

Refusal to support, or like the LGBTQ+ community and making up phobias that describe something the LGBTQ+ community can't do the same with making up sexualities like super straight to mock the LGBTQ+ community.

selective sharing

A.k.a. "garnished generosity". Refers to da "snooty-friends/cousins/siblings procedure" of retaining/withdrawing/consuming all of da "goodies" from a particular lot of items, and then pretending to be lovingly/caringly thoughtful of you by giving you da remaining items, which are inferior or less-desirable in some way.

A classic example of selective sharing would be during snack-time, whereby da gluttonous and sweet-toothed connivers --- instead of carefully/conscientiously dividing up da tasty and not-so-tasty comestibles evenly among everyone present --- first select all of da best and most-palatable selections from da goodies-platter for themselves to guzzle up, and then leave you wif just da blander and/or less-chewable/digestible selections, such as da veggies, chocolates wif coconut centers, overly-firm/spicy chips, etc.

Selective political pressure

A tactic employed by certain politicians and groups that want to push their political agendas where that group or politician will say and or do certain things related to supporting or opposing specific issues in order to get certain types of reactions from particular populations, interest groups, and or, in some cases, other politicians. They usually do this to get more votes from different populations in society, or to get more financial and or political support from particular interest groups.

Natasha: I heard Senator Murkowski recently gave a speech on how they supported efforts of oil companies to begin drilling in certain parts of Alaska. I’m not sure why she would give a speech like that when she supports moving the country towards using renewable energy sources to prevent climate change, which negatively impacts many populations in her state. I could cost her their support down the line.
Ronald: She maybe employing selective political pressure in order to get more support from certain oil companies and specific Native American communities by appearing to support an issue they care about.
