loona effect

The conditioned aversion towards a thing due to the annoying followers.

Comes from the kpop girl group Loona, whose fanbase made it their mission to spread the word "Stan Loona" on each and every unrelated topic, ironic or not, thus annoying a lot of people who in response refused to even acknowledge the group itself.
1: man, everyone keeps talking about Game of Thrones. It's started to annoy me so much, I'll never want to watch it.
2: same fam, got the worst Loona effect.
