A symbol, worn around one's neck, that signifies a winner, a true American hero, and an all-around bad-ass. There can be no higher honor than to be presented with a pedallion. Any sports team represented on a pedallion will, inevitably, win and become masters of the universe.

pedalstrian

Ped-ahl'-stree-an. A bicyclist who prefers bike paths and purposely avoids riding on the street among motorized traffic - sort of in between a street bicyclist and a pedestrian. Pedalstrians generally seek the bucolic aesthetics of bike paths, the safer biking they afford, or both.

I became a dedicated pedalstrian after having been clipped by an inebriated motorist a couple years ago.
