Dolinski Syndrome

A very strange phenomenon has recently been observed in patients whom have been diagnosed with having both N.P.D. and Tourette Syndrome. In rare cases, these two diseases have spontaneously fused with one another to form a deadly super-disease known as Dolinski Syndrome.

Symptoms of DS include:

-cold shallow eyes
-paper thin smile
-callous obnoxious laughter
-repeatedly inappropriate behavior

-lacking sincere emotional connection
-underestimating the value of friendship
-grossly misunderstanding the meaning of love

"Dolinski Syndrome has no cure. Although it is not contagious, DS is a very serious form of mental illness and there is a real danger for those closest to the afflicted. A full and immediate quarantine is strongly recommended."

Acronym for, "ain't quite right" syndrome.

Mamasaur says that it is more polite to say these three letters when in uncertain company to describe a socially inept loser than to stoop low and use a curse word or other easily recognizable insult.

Hiro Syndrome

When a guy in anime, usually a well-loved or attributed character, goes after a girl who doesn't want him, whose rejection makes him act like a total asshole. Usually applies to gay men in Boys' Love anime who act all hetero over one specific girl, much to fans' dismay; however, it can also apply to canonically heterosexual males or males in non-BL anime when fitting the criteria of NICE GUY TURNED RETARDED THANKS TO BITCH. Often used as a plot device in fan fiction.

"Wow, did Steve totally just ditch his best friend Michael for Mikayla or what?"

"He's only acting like a jerk because of Hiro Syndrome."

Michael Syndrome

One of the few syndromes whose symptoms yield a net benefit in one's life. (i.e., this is a syndrome you actually want to have.) Typically, Michael Syndrome is characterized by a dramatic increase in so-called 'eureka moments', of which many are incredibly useful ideas and contributions.

In other words, Michael Syndrome can be thought of as a temporary form of Savant Syndrome, but it is much more direct in application and does not contain any negative side effects.

My God, he just received his third Nobel Prize, fourth Turing award, fifth best-selling book, and is making a killing on his newest stock trading strategy... The only explanation: He has a case of Michael Syndrome.
