ming mang

As far as I know this was a term that first started being used in the 1992/1993 time frame.

Originally 'Ming mang' was something we called handicapped people that suffered from afflictions like Down Syndrome. However, As time went on the term Ming Mang was being used in a circle of friends and generally was said when someone did something or said something really stupid and/or moronic.

Maang

The pairing of Meng and Aang from the animated show Avatar: The Last Airbender. In the show it is one-sided, with Meeng's feelings for Aang unrequited. Meng seems jealous of how Aang adores Katara, and fans are yet to find out if Meng will return in the thrid season of Avatar. The voice actor of Meng is also the voice actor of Toph- possible foreshadowing?

Meng was a cute couple for Aang- then Toph came along and blew Maang out of the water!
