Badger in the mailbox

A term for an unexpected or unpredictable problem or issue which causes harm, physically, mentally, etc.
Can be used if the problem is self created or not.

Referential to the idea of a mailman’s opening a mailbox unknowingly containing an angered badger
(Self Created Problem) *Joe trips and hurts his nose*
Steve: Man, you really put the badger in the mailbox
Joe: I guess so

(Not self created) *Crazy girl destroys Steve’s car*
Steve: Man I really missed the badger in the mailbox there

Badgerhole

The anus - specifically referenced in moments of loving penetration, juxtaposed against the rushed pace of daily urban life.
Charles: Oh Petulia, you know I've always wanted to hold you so close and look into those deep blue eyes of yours.
Petulia: Charles, stop being so overdramatic and stick it in honey - We've only got 5 minutes!

(Charles thrusts forward, to no avail)

Petulia: Honey, wrong hole - not in the pink, in the stink !
Charles: Roger that Petulia : Try number 2 - this bunny is going down the badgerhole !

Guest Badger

A person who apparently has a free pass to bother his significant other / partner / friend at work all day (note: they work together, giving free reign for the annoyance).
He's back, just sitting on her desk. Why would she marry him? And how does he finish any work when he's up here in her face, staring at her with disapproving looks and bothering her with “do you want a soda?” and “did you buy eggs?”, all day? He's such a guest badger!

Bendy Badger

Norfolk U.K in origin
A reference to a gay or queer man, relates to the children's T.V series Bodger and Badger on British television from 1989-1999, the main character was a Badger and his owner/Friend who had a close relationship, as close as possible with a man up the rear end of a badger, making him talk and eat mash potato
An urban legend says that Ubuntu operating system was originally going to use the name for it's release 5.10 until they realised what it meant, but no one has ever confirmed if that was the true reason the name was changed.
God he's a right bendy badger.

Have you seen "Steve" he's being a right bendy badger today.
