Alvin York.

A real badass, who killed 28 German, took 32 machine gun nests, and capturing a minium of 132 Germans(their were more). All by himself! He didn't have time to take cover, while being shot at! He was a real badass. Oh yea he was a pacifist.
This was in WWI.
