Texting Trance

When someone is so deep in conversation via text messaging they are in a trance. Usually happens when figuring out plans with friends or texting about last night drunken escapades.

Guy 1: "I was out to lunch with my girlfriend today and she totally went into a texting trance, I had to shout her name for her to look up from her phone"
Guy 2: "who do you think she was talking to?"
Guy 1: "I don't know man, but she was giggling enough and and muttering about jello shots. She probably was retelling our crazy night last night *winks*
Guy 2: "who takes jello shots outside of college?"

texting talker

1.- A person who writes a lot on chat with people but doesn't necessarily mean that talks a lot by phone or in person. Usually he or she doesn't.

2.- A sociable person only online (most of the times).

Ex:

Victoria: Sean is always so quiet in class.

Sarah: Yesterday, We were chatting a lot but he barely said Hi today.

Victoria: He is a texting talker for sure.

texting window

The time frame in which you text someone after first meeting them. Texting someone too quickly after getting the number comes off too eager, and texting someone too long after shows you aren't into it. One to two days after the initial number giving is an acceptable window in which to make contact.

Man I met this hot chick at a party but I want to respect the texting window so she don't think I'm too into it. You know?

Or

Yea I met this guy and things seemed really great. But it's been three days and that's past the acceptable texting window time frame so he's obviously not feeling it.
