M-Shift

Short for "mental shift." This is a term therianthropes and otherkin who wish to make excuses for their sometimes bizarre and animalistic behavior use to avoid taking responsibility for their actions; they believe that by claiming that they've "mentally shifted" into their spirit's supposed true form that they should receive pity no matter what they do.

I didn't mean to go on a murderous rampage on the full moon. Please excuse me: I m-shifted into a werewolf mentality and I couldn't help myself!

vibe shift

Coined by trend forecaster Sean Monahan, a vibe shift describes the emergence of a “new era of cool.”

For example, fashion is a realm that experiences frequent vibe shifts, especially with the arrival of new decades. Gone are the days when frosted tips and low-rise jeans and Abercrombie & Fitch were in.

We’re in the midst of a vibe shift right now with the widespread lifting of Covid-19 protocols and restrictions. We’re going out again and adapting in new ways to our environment; some will survive the shifting tides, and some won’t.

Yeah I’m in my vibe shift right now. You won’t catch me in the club now that things are opening back up again. I’m all about going to the Home Depot, renovating my home and hearth, yknow? Once I tried topless gardening things changed a lot for me. :)

When you show up to work your night shift. clock in then dissapear to whereabouts unknown. Eight hours later you return to clock out. Nobody knows where you went and they think you called in sick when you really didnt.

Dick Shift

The process of absent-mindedly playing with an erect penis. Can also be used as a passive adjective to describe a male persona in which emotional gears tend to be in constant flux and inconsistency, usually causing frustration and bitch fits from their female counterparts. (Mental stick shifting.) Those accused of dick shifting will most likely have high rebound rates coupled with less than intact morals.

Shifted-face

There is buzzed, drunk, hammered, shmamered, shit-faced and there is shifted-face. Shifted-face is an extreme form of inebriation that no one except the elites can handle. You become so drunk you start to see people's faces(including your own) shifted from their original position (usually a few inches to the right depending on your tolerance level).
