A man that is unsure what to do next, yet willing to do it, whatever it may be. Usually a man that is waiting for direction from a woman because he is under the delusion that he will get a lifetime of pussy for being there for her, whenever, where ever...essentially missing the point of being a man.

beta male

A bullshit subclass of men invented by so-called "alpha males" to classify anybody who's not spending 99.9% of their waking hours working out and practicing pick-up lines that they will later use on unsuspecting women. A beta male is someone who "sucks up to females" , known in the real-world as "RESPECTING women and their rights" and if in a couple are cock-blocking "better men" (read: I have abs and backnea ARGH!) .

In other words , "alpha" males are compensating for their lack of real personality by making up the notion that they are on top of men who are perfectly good people but are not paragons of male beauty.

Bro-dude : "Why is that bitch with this beta male? He's flabby and pale! I could totally be a better man! I'm ALPHA!"

Phi Beta

A widely used term by college students (particularly frats) to describe a massive slut and or bitch (Phi=fucking Beta=Bich)

beta male

A totally typical male. Most definitions here are wrong: betas aren't particularly sensitive or even meek, they just are much more follower than leader.

Plenty of insecure, pushy, loud guys are betas: most frat boys (especially the toady), most Ivy Leaguers, most football players, most Tea Partiers, most suburbanites, most rednecks, etc. Since they 1) don't have followers they aren't alphas and 2) don't have much of a mind of their own aren't gammas.

Steve thought being pushy and obnoxious made him seem like an alpha male. He couldn't be more wrong. Since no one gives a shit what he thinks and he's always following what Glenn Beck says, he's pretty clearly just an another beta male

Betail

Any game, particularly online games with plans of updates or expansions packs, that is released too early and often times has little or unfinished content as well as several bugs. It plays as if still in beta testing, hence the fusion of beta and retail, betail.

I'm tired of companies releasing half assed betail games like Horizons.

Betaish

The language created between two linguists: Driver and Walpole.
Comprising mainly of "stolen" words, it is more of a pidgin. It encorporates aspects of French, Irish, German, Orcadian, English, American English, Icelandic, Russian and Korean. It also includes original Betasish words (Betaisch in it's European form).
The new OBD (Oxford Betaish Dictionary) is soon to be published.
