A trope commonly found in harem-novels, as coined by translations of Chinese novel "The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System" by Mòxiāng Tóngxiù. Describes common plot devices that force women around the protagonist to fall into his arms (and bed).

I can't stand this novel, the amount of convenient wife plots lying around is insane! The fauna of each village can't ALL be aphrodisiacs!

Wife Rash: Identical to curb rash on an automobile, typically on your high end rims from parking to close to the curb.

Also could be deemed as "Number Rash", caused by pulling into a parking space too far, one that usually has a triangular isolated curb made out of concrete.
"Wife Rash"is a term designated to reveal the true culprit of the damage done to the vehicle.

Car owner discussing a repair quote with an auto detailer or rim repair shop: "I need a quote on refinishing my rims as well as removing the Wife Rash."
