When a person (specifically teenager) will set a status on Facebook/Myspace for attention more than four times a day.
The word Status Whore was developed because a whore changes boyfriends everyday , and Status whores change statuses every hour

Signs that you are being a status whore include :

1. Your wall contains statuses that are being updated every 15 minutes.
2. You tend to use statuses that don't get many likes on facebook.
3. People know your life because of your statuses.
