Platform Privilege

The privilege that celebrities, professional athletes, and politicians possess over regular citizens, that gives them the ability to broadcast their singular and oftentimes uneducated opinion to millions of people, simply because they enjoy access and prominence in media where non-famous, but more intelligent individuals do not. While all men may be created equal, their access to platforms is not and famous people become entitled to believe that their opinions and ideas have merit simply because they are famous.

Dude 1: "Man, can you believe the crappy lead singer from Coldplay is telling me who I should vote for? Who does he think he is?

Dude 2: "He's using his Platform Privilege. Celebrities always think we want to hear their opinions even though we all know they're complete morons and the media pukes it out to the masses because they're famous."

ambassador plate

A small plate (normally a bread plate) used to create a small portion of food from your dinner plate for sharing purposes amongst friends, thus preventing awkward plate passes and feeding someone off of your fork.

I couldn’t decide on what to get at the restaurant, but thanks to ambassador plates I tried the fish, the pork and the chicken.

Invincibility Plates

Displayed on the front and back of a young drivers vehicle who has recently graduated from Learner or Student driver status. It allows the driver to pilot vehicles without supervision and gives them the power of Invincibility against telegraph poles, trees, lamp post and semi-trailers.

First Person: 'Wow Tony, did you see how fast that car was travelling. If the driver is not careful, they will wrap themselves around that tree on the next bend'
Second Person: 'No need to worry Ben, they have Invincibility Plates on. That tree won't stop them. The only thing preventing them from being a superhero is the lack of a High Visibility Safety Vest'
