Drake’s beautiful attempt to bless his audience with such greatness on his album Honestly, Nevermind. Texts go green is simply referring to an Imessage being sent but it turns green rather than blue inferring one has been blocked.

Drake - “Texts go green, it hits a little different, dont it?”

Pennsauken Green Light 

When one is unsure of his or her partner's sexual intentions, so they continue to pursue in the hopes that the partner is in fact interested.
Based on the horrendous traffic light system in Pennsauken, New Jersey in which you can't really tell if the light is actually green, so you carry on hoping that you're right.

Dude 1: "Man I can't tell if she wants me."
