guilt-control

When someone, or some party, attempts to use the concept of guilt (not necessarily actual guilt) in order to manipulate a person or people, into doing something that would be against their best interest. It's a tactic of manipulation that does not require actual guilt, just the presumption of guilt. Usage of the term asserts against the rhetorical trap of implied guilt, by summarily denying the implied guilt and exposing the guilt as an intended form of control.
party a: 10 years ago you got into that accident, and I know you say it wasn't your fault, but it's probably in our best interest if we never let you drive again.
party b: Your attempts at guilt-control are obvious, so please stop.

Psychologically control

Give me a break. You're definitely trying. And the manner in which you're attempting to do it is wildly offensive and is LITERALLY something NO ONE WOULD ADMIT TO DOING PUBLICLY. Get it? And, thus, the lack of coverage.
Hym "That's actually the entire motivation being shaming culture. Psychologically controlling other people to remediate the imaginary problems created by the narcissistic delusion of moral superiority. And what I mean by that is, the problem itself is only a problem in so far as it relates to a set of axiomatic presuppositions. Axiomatic presuppositions to which people don't have to adhere. You're not the arbiter of how I need to behave. I'm just going to keep doing whatever I'm doing until I'm done doing it and then I'm going to 'pull the pin' and 'hit the eject button.' And there is nothing you can do to convince me to change something that doesn't need to be changed."
