Using cell phone or land line to comfort or remove age appropriate responsibility from another - generally a son or daughter who would benefit from learning to deal with adversity without parental intervention. Similar in approach to e-coddle but more interactive and often involves the parent/coddler demanding to speak with another adult or organizational representative who is not performing as the child (and parent) would like.

Nicole's mom could not help but call and tele-coddle her when she saw that Nicole looked unhappy in the on-line camp pictures.

In the event of a domestic dispute everything is documented and there is no protection against text harassment .so if an ex partner was to be texting you in an inappropriate manner or purely to piss you off instead of using the phrase go fuck yourself it's much safer to say they're violating Penal Code 6244 . Or just reply with 6244 since there is no legal code to stop these harassing texts
