The Ethnic Qarsherskiyan Tribe in Eastern North America are heavily influenced by Aliyite beliefs, and many of the Ethnic Qarsherskiyans are Aliyites. Many Aliyites believe that Orisha Ogun is one with Imam Ali and that Imam Ali was a continuation of the life of Jesus Christ, and that Jesus is one with Orisha Obatala or Obatallah. These Aliyites also believe the Orishas of the Ifa religion were real and were actually angels, Imams, and prophets whose messages were distorted and who were falsely deified overtime by misguided people.
Many Aliyites believe Imam Ali came to North America either with West African explorers from the Mali Empire or being brought by the angels including angel Jibreel/Gabriel. These Aliyites believe that Imam Ali first stepped foot in North America on a hill that had a Native American encampment on top of it, and Imam Ali gave them dawah, and the sacred Carolina Parakeets (Conuropsis carolinensis) copied Imam Ali's sermons and flew around repeating them, spreading Islam to many Native American tribes.
