Local braddahs that were born and raised in Puna. (Can also be outsiders from other Hawaiian islands that were officially anointed by time or another certified Puna boy)
Due to a rough life, they are usually able to scrap with above average capabilities and liable to swing first and ask questions later. But at the same time respectable braddahs who set high goals and achieve them.
There are levels to Puna Boyz.
Level 1: youthful and rebellious. Liable to get arrested
Level 2: Grown up Puna Boyz (either in jail or doing good and killing it business wise, rarely any in between) usually tatted at this point, most likely a tat of Puna either the word or a picture. Got good ground and stand up game
Level 3: Off island/outta district Puna Boyz. They usually rep the hardest because they take Puna where ever they go (tatted means you gotta) and most importantly they are proud of being a Puna Boy, they wear that badge honorably. They know incarceration is not the way to live for a Puna Boy, so they hustle hard for themselves and families. They still down for bang anyone anytime any place, but they also take care of business. Every time they return to Puna they are reminded of how far they’ve come and the work that’s left to be done. Always to return to Puna in the end and change the community in a positive way.
Level 4: OG Puna Boyz. Making moves from the shadows, not on the scene as much but left a legacy for the future generations. Puna Boyz always stay Pono
