two tap rule

When having sex (or making out) the two tap rule is a non-verbal way of communicating you are not comfortable with/don't like something your partner is doing. The two taps will let the partner know to stop, and go back to something you like.

Using the two tap rule- If you're partner puts their hands somewhere unwanted tap them twice on the shoulder so they know to move them.

The 4 d rule

The 4d rule is a rule imposed on exchange students in the United States by their exchange association. It prohibits students from driving, drinking alcohol, using drugs, and dating American partners (banging yankee blondes and brunettes)

The tacit rule popular among exchange students is to break these rules as quickly as possible without being caught by their host family.

the birthday rule that everyone knows

The rule stating that if you are dating someone or "talking" to that person, you cannot make them choose any plans for future engagements within 10 days of their actual birthday. UNLESS that person requests to make the plans. All other plans must be made by the person whose birthday is not within 10 days.

Dylan: Caroline, you have to make the plans for what we do tomorrow.
Caroline: No I don't you ginger, my birthday is in 8 days and its the birthday rule that everyone knows.
