A mysterious person who will continually be unknown to us (Urban Dictionary Readers), since we can't call him/her out by name. We only know that he/she has a computer with the internet and he/she decides who has the hottest definitions.

Urban Dictionary Face Off 

Urban Dictionary Face Off:

When two complete strangers who have posted the same definition on Urban Dictionary, later come back, maybe several times, each time voting themselves 'up' one vote, & the other 'down' to grapple for first position. Meanwhile, they & other UD readers begin noticing a 'not so coincidental alignment' of each others thumbs up vote/each others down vote as time goes on.

UD Face Offs are brought on either by one of or combinations of revenge, obsessiveness, contempt, stupidity, perfectionism, OCD, jealousy, spite, fun, fear of dominance, may continue out of boredom and the freedoms of anonymity on the internet, or even just because the ball has started rolling & you can't stop it. As with any face off there is usually a 'Winner' & a 'Loser'. A stalemate may occur after an initial stouche, but because of the foot-print left behind from the voting, the new reader/observer reads & corresponds the vote & definition, and in their minds at that moment decide a winner & loser, and after some thought, maybe vote.

Yeh, this dude posted a definition after mine last year on UD, and ever since there has this been this ever increasing thumbs down vote corresponding with his up vote.

Urban Dictionary Editor 

This is a group of people with different personalities who volunteer their time to keep Urban Dictionary relevant. They receive no pay for this service. Some are just killing time, some have an agenda, BUT for the most part they are folks that just want UD to be free of the things that are not allowed. By volunteering their services they are helping this site to remain FREE OF CHARGE to all who use it.

Because there are so many different people editing UD it can lead to new posts being rejected for what appears to be no good reason. Some people let everything pass through, some follow the rules exactly, and then there are some who might go beyond the rules and reject almost every new post.

urban dictionary mug 

a mug used for holding your morning coffee, adorning your choice of word with it's definition. can be used as a cup or as a very shallow bowl if you turn it upside down. dishwasher safe.

I use my urban dictionary mug everyday to hold my coffee while i browse through memes. If I didn't, my coffee would simply be all over the table.

Urban Dictionary fag 

1.) Someone who knows that a certain slang word doesn't exist but they want ot to so bad that they put it on Urban Dictionary anyway in the hopes of making it famous.

2.) Someone who claims that damn near every word on urban Dictionary, they made up or were using before ever hearing about it on this site.

3.) Someone who comes to this site for 'clever' new insults so he/she can seem like the fuckin' man.

4.) Someone who STAYS TALKING ABOUT THEIR NEWEST urban Dictionary post, and how awesomely hilarious it is.

5.) Someone with really No Life, or a barely interesting life who feels like maybe someone will read one of their posts and they will become famous so they put their whole name as their name for each post.

Most of these will be followed with a "...go suck urban Dictionary's dick" and or clever plays on that because, well if you're going to call someone a fag, and mean it, you're going to tell them something they can do rather than waste your time.
