Saudi Riyals (SAR) Is a currency used in saudi arabia, currently (2023) there's 7 banknotes and 7 coins, starting with banknotes, there's 5 riyals, 10 riyals, 20 riyals, 50 riyals, 100 riyals, 200 riyals, and 500 riyals, the coins used the term halalas as saudi cents, there's 2 riyals, 1 riyal, 50 halalas, 25 halalas, 10 halalas, 5 halalas, and one halala.

Fun fact: the one riyal used to be a banknote until 2016, when saudi arabia decided to make the one riyal a coin and introduced the 2 riyals, then in 2020, saudi arabia introduced the new 5 riyals that is now tearproof and waterproof, they also introduced the 20 riyals and the 200 riyals
(for some reason, only the 5 riyals is made of plastic, other banknotes are made of paper)

The saudi riyal is currently worth 27 cents approx, meaning that one US dollar equals to 3,75 riyals approx.
