Glowposting

When an agent of the FBI, ATF, NSA or any other such organization creates posts online baiting potential criminals to reveal their intentions.
I saw a post on 4chan asking what kind of gun is best for a school shooting. The ATF must be glowposting to see whose dog to shoot.

Glows in the dark

Someone who presents red flags or shows suspicious signs that they are some sort of spy, saboteur, propagandist, astroturfer/astroturder, some other type of undercover agent/operative, or are flying a false flag.
I don't trust that guy, he glows in the dark AF.

Normally used for the CIA but also used for agencies like the ATF, FBI, etc. Their inability to blend in to the native population's habits, patterns and speech makes them stick out like a sore thumb to the population, hence they "glow in the dark."

The most common trappings of government shills are their inability/hesitation to use the major racial slurs, improper use of memes, and the pushing of mainstream political theories.

I feel ya, glowie. Must be frustrating. I know everything I post is satire or attempted satire, or pertaining to my favorite game - Minecraft. So easy to be misunderstood in these wicked times. I hope you get the day off for Christmas, at least.

The worst thing about having an erratic sleeping schedule and being sleeping on American business hours is that you don't get to always read the replies of your designated glowie. When you are most active he is at home sleeping. sucks.

If anyone says, "here's how to get cheap guns illegally", "we should shoot first ", and " Stop larping kill the blank now " that is a glowie pure and simple.

Glower is a slang for a Federal Agent, usually used for one in disguise over the internet.
The slang comes from a racist rant by the coder of TempleOS Terry A. Davis.
"The CIA n*gg*rs glow in the dark, you can see them when you are driving. You just gotta run 'em over with your car."
Moderator: Don't post links on open chat, there are a lot of glowers in this server.

1) (in real life) To give off some form of positive energy through vibes, beauty, etc. Most often used to describe how the person is perceived visually, like a smile but not something like a compliment.

2) (in internet culture)

a) To be close to or to break the TOS of a social media site in a way that is eye catching to some. Especially used if the action that caused the user to glow is something the community they are a part in often get criticized for.

b) To be suspected of being a federal agent who is either trying to infiltrate or provoke online communities. Often posted when an account is found to have doctored photos, made up first and last names, and/or relatively extreme ideas. Possibly a reference to the quote, "The cia ******* glow in the dark."
1) Becky: "How do I look?"
Samantha: "Omg, you're glowing!"

2)
a) User1: "All parents who vaccinate their children should have their children taken by Child Protective Services."

User2: "This man is glowing so hard."

b) User1: "If you're being interrogated by the police, I'd recommend to not invoke the right to remain silent because it looks more natural to the judge."

User2: "User1 is glowing so much, all of the images they've posted of themselves we're ripped from someone's abandoned blog from 2006 and nobody has been recorded in the US of having the same name they claim to have."
