free thinker

A word meaning someone who doesn't necessarily base their opinions on any particular creed or system of ideas, but based on their own intuition and perception of reality.

Also, a word hijacked by the Militant Atheist movement to mean, well, an atheist, with the obvious (but baseless) implication that free thought would never bring anyone to believe in a higher power.

Joe didn't believe in any organized religion, but believed in his own form of God. Joe is a free thinker.

Tinder-bender

Finding a hookup using the Tinder app that looks attractive on there profile picture and inviting them over, only to find out that they are less than appealing (and STILL hooking up with them).

"Dude I got in such a Tinder-bender last night. I found this smoking hot chick on Tinder and invited her over. When she got there, she looked like she fell from and ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.... and I STILL hit it."

Self-absorbed senior citizen who drags their oxygen tank slowly through crowded public places, scolding and threatening anyone who tries to get around them. They usually voted with their dollars for NeoCon, Big-Tobacco candidates in the past, but now are voting for any Republicrat who promises to increase their Social Security benefits and give them free health care, knowing that they'll be dead before those bills come due.

I would've been on time for the team dinner party, but some tanker parked their Caddy across three spaces and then took 5 minutes just to get their scuba gear through the damned door.
