Name-Praise Whores

The people on Urban Dictionary who randomly praise their own name or someone else's name for the sakes of either:
A) being an attention whore, or

B) to praise random people by giving a bullshit definition for their name here on UD.

People praising their lovers' names over UD are not fully or necessarily Name-Praise Whores - they are something FAR worse...

The people who define names such as Eli shown there or Gary shown here are probably Name-Praise Whores.

What you don't want your kids growing up to be, since most people with well-known middle names are assassins or serial killers. (Lee Harvey Oswald, John Wayne Gacy).

Person 1: "So what do you want your kids to be when they grow up?"
Person 2: "Don't care, as long as they don't end up Middle Name Famous."

"Since coming to LA, I knew porn might be in my future. For now I'm sticking with my Hollywood name, Alan Oakland. If things go south I'll change it to Arnie. He sure was a nice Dalmation.

lad name

"lad name" is a masculine substitute for maiden name, used when a man changes his name at marriage. birth name can also be used as a gender-neutral substitute.

When we got married, my husband took my last name. His lad name, though, was Weinerschnitzel, so I guess I can see why.
