The Function

A term used by people that do the dance called jerking, the function is where everyone is jerkin like where alot of battles are at, and where crews rep themselves.

Jerk1: Ay, meet me at the function tonight, the rangers are about to be there.

Jerk2: Ight, but ay are we about to get off there?

Jerk1:Yups

Functionista

Someone who consistently wears situationally appropriate clothing.

Anyone who dresses purely according to the dictates of function, in response to actual weather conditions and in pursuit of personal comfort.

The opposite of fashionista.

Prior to climbing the mountain the functionistas gathered at the trail head to triple check the pit zips on their gor-tex jackets, prime their camelbak hydration systems and compare multitools.
