Many people come here during snowbird season for its beautiful beaches. The town has an italian feel because of its architecture, and is also filled with many italian families. Along with its beautiful Island, it's locally known for its sports. Venice has some of the best athletes in Florida. Venice High School has had more drafted players than any other high school in the county. Known for it's Friday night football, and State champion babeball and volleyball team. One of the most serious competitors in Florida.
