Noun.

Mumbo jumbo, abstract information; bullshit. Usually spoken by professors or kiss-ass graduate students.

Root word can also be modified to create a verb (i.e., "Shmergeny").

Can replace the traditional, "Blah blah blah," or, "yadda yadda yadda."

Girl 1: "Did you take notes in philosophy?"
Girl 2: "I tried, but it was a bunch of shmergen."

Modified version: "The teacher's lecture was all shmergeny."

Sierah

Sierah is a girl who is always getting boys and even when she has a break up like three weeks later she has a new boyfriend. She has a lot of friends. Her personality is great. Also she usually has a really close boy best friend and a really close girl best friend. She can tell her best friends anything. Sometimes she is a little crazy (but in a good way). Sierah can make anyone laugh. Even though she has a tough time in math class she still does really good. Her favorite class is social studies. She is so beautiful and sometimes is a little self conscious even though she doesn't need to be.

That girl is so smart in social studies she must be a sierah.

Trying to ridicule a person or thing by repeating twice, but during the second repetition replace the first consonant(s) with s-h-m.
Often used by speakers or decendents of people who speak Yiddish and German. Since a lot of words an names start with shm.

Hugo: You know you really shouldn't do that any more. You might go to prison.
Chester: Prison Shmison.
Hugo: No seriously man. I think I saw a cop.
Chester: Cop shmop
Hugo: You know, that doesn't always work. You can't solve all your problems by word shmerding them.

A part of Russia to the East from the Ural Mountains. Siberia geographicaly is devided into two parts: Western and Eastern. Western Siberia is extremely rich in oil and natural gas. Eastern - in metals and diamonds. Climate is cold, drops down to - 50 C in winter. Summer is hot - up to 35 C. For the US residents: temperature is not in Farenheit. Russian people who live there are called sibiryaki. In Russia they are well known for big height and physical strength.
