Scatterbrain

A person with a scatterbrain tends to lack focus, lacks direction in life, lacks concentration, extremely forgetful, disorganized, and does not have serious connected thoughts! Can't follow a simple conversation and gets confuse over small matters. These people tend to self- sabotaged any relationship they are in because their brain is all over the place.

Can't ask Greg he has a scatterbrain so he won't remember.

a scanner darkly

A book written by Philip K. Dick, that was later turned into an animated movie of the same name. Follows the story of a undercover drug detective who ends up getting hooked on the drugs he's fighting. His sacrifice, however, uncovers the terrible truth about an agency that provides drug addicts safe-houses to get off the drug. Fantastic book and great movie. The book is better though. The story was inspired by the 1970s drug culture that Dick participated in. It's dedicated to dozens of his friends that died or were crippled by drug use.

A scanner darkly is a freaky story, makes drugs sound very unappealing.

Shatner commas

Oddly placed commas that don't seem to serve any actual purpose in punctuation, but make it look like you should take odd pauses, as William Shatner does when delivering lines.

Scaterday

Scat-Saturday. The day that comes directly before Sunday bunday.

Scaterday is the day you actively participate in scat related events and / or activities. This could be as simple as watching scat related porn all the way to participating in scat related porn.

"I think I'm going to take it easy on Laura this Sunday bunday, because I'm going to destroy her on Scaterday."

Laura: I don't think I want to go out for mexican tonight. Matt gave me a cleveland steamer on Scaterday and I'm still a little shaken up by it.

Shatner Syndrome

A disease of celebrities wherein they rise to notoriety with a particular role, and it threatens to typecast and destroy their career forever. Named for William Shatner, whose love-hate relationship with his Star Trek character James T. Kirk, both originated and imprisoned, extended and hounded much of his professional career.

In rare cases, such as with William Shatner himself, the disease mutates and gives the victim the ability to rise above and become a teflon parody/iconic legend of themself.

Examples of Shatner Syndrome are almost every principal actor from every Star Trek series, Jim Nabors, Pee-wee Hermann, Hulk Hogan and the entire cast of Seinfeld, aside from Jerry Seinfeld.

Shatnered

When a situation completely changes tone from reverent to mildly absurd.

Example: When the 2010 Winter Olympics closing ceremony went from the moving extinguishing of the Olympic flame to the tune of Neil Young's "Long May You Run" to William Shatner discussing the hazards of having sex in a canoe.

"Did you see the closing ceremony? It was great, but then it totally got Shatnered."
