The Neverending Story

A 1984 movie about a kid named Bastian that, after being chased by bullies, runs into a book store and steals a book entitled "The Neverending Story". He becomes immersed in the book, and starts thinking and feeling the same things as the book's main character, Atreyu. In the book, a terrible swarm of 'nothingness' is taking over -- destroying the world and leaving a big empty space. Atreyu is sent to find a cure for this 'nothing' to save the Childlike Empress. In the end, however, it is only Bastian that can save the world inside The Neverending Story.

The Neverending Story is pretty kickass.

The biggest cliche the world has ever known. Mostly used when crippled by a limited vocabulary. Can pertain to Nuclear war with North Korea, flooding, record breaking Hurricanes that aren't caused by climate change (obviously), inauguration crowds (probably) etc.

Yo' moms: "Have you heard the Don on the news today, addressing the hurricane victims in the trailer park in Naples Florida?"

Me: "Of course. He just made "The likes of which we have never seen" the biggest cliche ever. A cliche, the likes of which we have never seen."

Phrase: Used sarcastically in reply after someone tells you a personal story that was overall stupid, uninteresting and hard to follow;

said in order to imply that the story would only be funny if you were there to witness/experience

Person 1: "... Then the girl was all like "At least I didn't do this and such!" and then I was like "No, you don't get it like that. It's like this you bitch! HAHA!" It was seriously so funny, like you have no idea!"
Person2: "Wow that is The Greatest Thing I've Never Seen."
