They are typically followed by SIMPS who think if they like her pictures and comment enough or send her more money that she will notice him and fall in love with him. In secret she hates these men and mocks them to her chad boyfriend. They are too self absorbed to have kids of their own. When they die no one typically cares for longer than it takes to read the article.

Repeating the word while overhwelming an hopeless enemy with rapid attacks became a fad on the internet with a flash animation that is based on the PlayStation game Jojo's Bizzare Adventure that is also an Japanese anime.

dinosaur media

Broadcast television, newspapers and magazines.

Basically, those media outlets that are considered traditional but are being made obsolete by faster, more malleable technologies (blogs, podcasts, streaming content on mobile devices).

The phrase has gained provenance as traditional media sources shrink and lay off staff -- a slow extinction that mirrors the disappearance of dinosaurs, though with fewer explosions.

"I just got a job as a reporter at the Denver Post!" screamed Danny.

"Ugh," groaned Danny's girlfriend. "Why would you want to work for dinosaur media?"

A person who has a psychological need to receive @replies and pings on twitter, attention at tweetups, facebook status update comments, and facebook likes.

This person usually becomes aroused almost sexually by seeing or hearing themselves or about themselves on social media websites.

missing link media

"Missing link" media refers to the second tier of established, so-called "mainstream" media, only one rung below the corporatized "legacy" media. They are generally accepted by the mainstream as credible sources but they have considerably less financial power than the top rung legacy media.

The missing link media will be the first to suffer from competition from by citizen journalism and alternative media sources on social media websites. They will either be absorbed into their legacy media counterparts or will fold under the strain.
