modus pwnens

This is a common form of reasoning about pwnage and is commonly accepted in most formal pwning systems. In the general form it states:
A Pwns B
If A has happened,
then we know that B has been pwned.

P.W.N.E.D.

Chuck Norris Pwns all Mortals
Socrates is mortal.
Chuck Norris has happened,
therefore by modus pwnens Socrates has been pwned.

This example is also valid with "you are" and "you have" in place of "Socrates is" and "Socrates has" respectively.

Note: It is well known that only an oracle (i.e. Chuck Norris) can decide if Chuck Norris Pwns non mortals.

Modular

Said of a computer program which has, for economical and practical reasons, been divided in separate individual modules.

A modular program (or application) must satisfy BOTH these rules:

1. A module must have two or more features

2. Given any two features, there can't be a module that includes them both

Sales rep "This is the best accounting software on the market, it's just huge"

Admin boss "We're really looking for something simpler, that fits our needs better"

Sales rep "Sure! It's modular! So you need to buy only the modules you need"

Admin boss "mmkay... we just need to print invoices"

Sales rep "Great! All you need then is the basic module, the invoicing module, the graphics module, the paper module, the user-interface module, the language-pack, the online-support service and the module integrating module"

Moudaki

The act of hooking up with a friend that you have known for years after a night of drunken partying. You have slept in the same bed multiple times with this friend with nothing happening, but this time the alcohol and beer goggles successfully take over.
