Medsplain

When an absolute idiot thinks they understand something medical or health related and goes crazy explaining it over their social media. In reality they'll probably end up with mega-AIDS with their terrible ideas, so medsplainers are to be avoided and feared. Someone can be a medsplainer, can medsplain, or medsplaining.

My sister tried to medsplain to me that onions in my socks will cure cancer and now my stupid socks smell like onions.

Mansplaining

A man explaining something to a woman in a way that is patronizing because it assumes that the woman will be ignorant of the subject matter.

Woman speaking to another woman: “ I don’t want to drink too much tonight, I have to work in the morning.”

Man standing near them at the bar: “ Actually if you drink a glass of water and take an ibuprofen before you go to bed you won’t be hungover.”

Woman: “Thank you for mansplaining, but I’m less concerned with alcohol induced dehydration and more concerned with getting to bed at a decent hour.”

When a man feels compelled to condescendingly explain something to a woman on a topic that any reasonable person could see she knows more about than he does.

"That's not what mansplaining means. Mansplaining is..." he mansplains.

mansplain

Quite regularly, during team meetings in front of every else, when a woman who is reporting on her own project work with which she is most experienced with and has worked in the field for over twenty years, another peer always feels the need to "complete" her sentences mid-way, talks over her, hijacks her time to shine, taking over the explanations, progress report, issue deconstruction, evaluation, or review, thinking that even though they only have one fifth of the experience, knows little to nothing of her project work in detail, they must though have the knowledge to report on the woman's work better than she can.

She (as the lead scientist): To report on my findings of the project work I have been completing for the past month,

He (as the apprentice): <interrupting> the results show... bladibla…

Her peers: rolling their eyes, internally thinking (there he goes again, mansplaining...what a narcissist!)

Micksplain

A more insidious form of mansplaining. In this case Mick West will proceed against all logic to explain to one what they experienced. In the Marvel Universe Mick West attained a form of Bizaro Clairvoyance while spinning in his office chair programming Tony Hawk to do 1020 rotations in mundane spaces. The constant spinning had an effect on his inner ear. Coupled with the lack of sleep from trying to meet corporate deadlines Mick entered an altered state sometime in late 2002. He has never fully awakened from that dream state, as he continues to explain to people what the reality they experienced really was.

Here is a case of Lue Elizondo getting the Micksplain by the man himself after recounting how a team of engineers investigated the videos released: "The reason Go Fast is claimed as something extraordinary is that Elizondo or his associates did not do the math. They assumed it showed what it looked like, and hence you end up with it being shown on "Unidentified" as a super-fast cold object. So he got kind of locked in."
