An amazing and absolutely stunning person in life. She can be weird at times but that will add to how much you can like her. A hard worker and won't stop at anything to impress you. There's nothing she can't do to stop her from achieving her dreams. Sometimes, she may have trouble with a relationship, but that won't stop her from making new ones. It's sometimes hard for her to be straightforward, but when she does, it's with 110% confidence. Other times, you don't need her to explain how she feels. There's always a story in her eyes.

The term "marriage strike" refers to young men in Western countries deciding to not get married, due to high divorce rates (50% in the U.S., and as high as 75% in California, which is not included in the U.S. average). A perception that marriage is a financial disaster for men, especially during divorce settlements, is generally believed to be driving the marriage strike phenomenon.

Lavender marriage

A term used in the 1930s, and can still be applied today. It's a term meaning if you are an actor who happens to be gay or lesbian like so many people in the 1930s, the agent of that actor tries to marry them off with a straight person. It is either this or lose everything when the public and fans find out a particular actor is homosexual.

These days it's no big deal to come out of the closet, but there are still gay actors married to a straight spouse for appearance, and reputation. This called a Lavender marriage.

John Travolta is indeed in a Lavender marriage with Kelly Preston.
