When you feel, like you are breaking everything you are is overshodowed, by this loss of a person you loved, who made your heart pound faster and your lips smile. Your heart is dead and you just keep going in a routine hoping your heart will heal, but will it ever get better ?

Lost a guy, I learned that I loved too late, my heart is left in Birmingham. And I am truly heartbroken, I am shattered.

when your heart is broken. Commonly the biproduct of "love". I put the quotes there because love is pretty much infatuation nowdays.that song, "Hold on loosley, but dont let go" should help you avoid this

Heartbroken

When your heart feels like a hangover, except the pain is centered around your chest and your not throwing up alcohol, you're just screaming in pain and crying your ass off for a few nights. then after you think it's over, you see you're ex and your heart feels like singing, then you see him/her with their hand in anothers or their lips on someone elses and your heart feels like it's going to vomit out buckets of tears.
