Gentrification

a racist term used by hispanics to express displeasure over having a white person living near them.
'did you see those darkies that just moved in next door? there goes the neighborhood.' - replace 'darkies' with 'white folk', and you've got 'gentrification'

Anti-gentrification

The act of keeping a certain areas property tax low instead of a percentage of what properties around them have sold for. A grandfather clause allowing lower income people to keep current tax rate until their property is sold.
With the increased amount of people moving to Austin the state could benefit from a anti-gentrification law that allows homeowners who have lived there more than 20 years to keep their existing tax rate.

Gentrification

People playing the real estate market want people to get shot no matter where they live, whether they were from South Central LA before they got into real estate, or from a small town out in the country, or somewhere in between. It's all cheaper land and dollar signs in their eyes.
Gentrification is the same thing no matter where it takes place. The guy/girl asking for 5 dollars or a cigarette usually already has his/her own money to buy this shit with, he/she just wants to charge somebody else for it. It's rare to meet somebody who doesnt ask for anything, and doesnt get on TV or ask for a donation for help, it's rare because when somebody doesnt ask for anything, they dont get noticed.

Genreification

Genreification, genrefied
In the late 1970's and early 1980's the course of music was interrupted and misguided by genreification as new styles of music summoned unnecessary terms, unnecessary clothing styles and hairstyles and throngs of music lovers found themselves redefining life to accommodate musical choices.

The genreification of Rock & Roll morphed into many styles of Rock, Metal, and Alternative also including Rock &:Rap...

The metal label is not necessary for numetal since most of the founding bands were all Rock & Rollers. Numetal was genrefied into many subgenres.
