gamerscore gremlin

Someone who goes to extreme or unnecessary measures to get achievements for games. Doing things such as buying games they'll never play again just to get some Xbox gamerscore or Playstation trophies to show off to their friends as some sort of "reward". A gamerscore gremlin is the type of person who would skip a group event to stay home and get ahead of another friend in achievements.

Person 1: Is Bill coming to the fire tonight?
Person 2: Nah, he's too busy being a gamerscore gremlin.
