The idea was originally proposed by the German philosopher Max Stirner in his book "The Ego and Its own" or also known as "The Unique and its Property"
it says ideas like The State, Religion, God(s), Laws, Capitalism, Morality, The Market and Societal Obligation are "spooks" or ideas that suppress the individual sense of self (aka the "ego") while not actually being real just illusions created by our masters to suppress us (aka "ghost of the mind" as Stirner would put it)
One of its main idea is that the ego (your sense of self) should strive to do things that make you happy and give you fulfillment rather than being restricted by society
It is just "Do whatever you want I don't care"
