Depression Sit-ups

When in a depressed state where one is immobilized such as in a bed, couch, or chair, the act of sitting up every 5-10 minutes like you are about to get up and do something, but then eventually laying back down to your original position because they could not muster up enough energy to actually get up.

Nah man I’m doing great. I even worked out- I did depression sit-ups all night while binge-watching King of the Hill on Saturday!

Sometimes abbreviated to RWDS - it is a condition which affected people most recently in England, around the time when Prince William and Kate Middleton (now Princess Katherine) had their wedding. The condition's leading cause appears to be the general atmosphere created by such an occasion. Specifically it is when people get fed up with all the media focus and people generally getting too excited about the wedding, tas well as certain companies producing Royal Wedding condoms.

Most left-leaning liberal social scientists, academics and pundits don't understand that IMHO this new, mythical post-election depression syndrome can actually be very easily cured; all one needs to do is consciously and rationally realize that your candidate lost and that retargerous actions such as civil disobedience, general violence, vandalism, destruction of property and other related forms of social protest are meaningless, making it more likely that you will get a file with the Unforegiveables.
